A COUPLE OF LITTLE VALENTINES DAY TREATS...

lush unicorn horn bubble bar
After falling in love with the Lush Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar last Valentines Day, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it again this year. From the start of January I waited patiently for my local store to have it in stock, but they never did :( #majorheartbreak I really didn't want to do an online order and have to pay postage just for my Unicorn Horn, so you can imagine my delight when me and the Mr visited the Bluewater store last weekend and they had dozens of them. I'm kind of regretting not buying two now, but at £4.25 they're one of Lush's pricier bubble bars, although I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get four decent uses out of it. With Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Neroli, this makes the perfect pre-bedtime treat for when you're wanting to completely relax, unwind and destress.
the best of me
There's nothing I love more this time of year than snuggling up in a fluffy blanket on the sofa with a yummy candle burning and getting lost in a film. I watched this yesterday and I'd forgotten just how good it is; there's so many twists and turns in the story and I think the ending is incredible. Plus you just can't go wrong with an hour and a half of James Marsden swooning ;)
essie nail polish
For me Valentine's Day is all about the pretty pinks; I just don't think red suits me! I'm loving this Essie 'Jamaica Me Crazy' polish at the moment as it's quite a dark pink with a purple tone running through it, which makes a nice change from the berry/plum shades I've been obsessed with since Autumn. The Barry M 'Socialite' sparkly polish works really well on top and I like to just add this to a couple of nails to make things a little more interesting. I'm planning on treating myself to a couple of new Essie polishes soon so let me know if you have any recommendations :)
mini eggs
My absolute favourite thing about this time of year is mini eggs; they're my favourite chocolate ever and I desperately wish they were available all year round! I've been pretty controlled so far this year and this is only the second pack I've had, but I'm sure I'll improve that over the next couple of months hehe ;) Can anyone else eat a whole bag of these in one sitting and still be ready for more or is that just me?!

Happy Valentines Day :) <3

Love Holly xo

  4. Ahh Mini eggs! They're like my all-time favourite chocolates at Easter, so I'm definitely going to get some! I originally asked Santa for Barry M's Socialite, but then I took it off my list and now I really regret it - it looks amazing! I'll be sure to put that back on my wishlist.

    Lovely post,

  6. I'm gutted I didn't get the Unicorn Horn, it looked like it would be a bit sickly but reading the list of scents in it, it actually sounds lovely and relaxing! xx
