CURRENT FASHION FAVOURITES: WINTER EDITION

winter ankle boots next fashion
Tan Heeled Ankle Boots - These are actually a couple of years old now from Next but I think they're the kind of classic style which never really go out of 'fashion'. They are super comfortable and the perfect heel height to make you feel a little sassy without looking like Bambi on ice. I basically live in black skinny jeans this time of year so I like how these are slightly wide fitting at the top so there is plenty of room to tuck my jeans in, and the tan injects a little colour into even the simplest of outfits.
newlook jumper
Cosy, Oversized Knitted Jumpers - The temperature has gone insane in England recently and after lots of rumours of snow (which I'm yet to see a sprinkling of #hmph) I've decided it's completely acceptable to live in oversized, cosy jumpers until Spring. I bought this pastel pink/nude one in Newlook recently and I'm completely obsessed with it - it's the perfect high neck for me as it keeps me super snug and cosy without strangling me/making me feel all claustrophobic (I'm looking at you polo necks!!) I always think Newlook jumpers wash really well and I've basically been living in this since I bought it a couple of weeks ago!
newlook handbag
Simple Black Handbag - It feels like I spent years searching for the perfect black handbag, so I couldn't be more in love with this little Newlook gem. I love the simple gold detail and it's the perfect size/shape for everyday use. It fits comfortably into the nook of your arm or you can carry it and I love how it looks quite smart and chic without being too formal.
boohoo jacket
Tan, Shearling-inspired Jacket - I'd been on the hunt for a jacket like this for the past couple of years, but every one I found was always a little too chunky or not the right shade of tan. I ordered this from Boohoo a couple of months ago and I can't even explain how much I love it; it's the softest fabric ever (the cream lining is like the fabric of fluffy slipper socks!) and the waterfall style makes it much more 'me' than some of the other shearling styles I've come across. It's the perfect jacket for when you're going shopping or something where you need a jacket outside but not inside and don't want to have to carry around a heavy winter coat with you :)
dorothy perkins scarf
Tartan Scarf - You just can't go wrong with a tartan scarf and as someone who isn't really a fan of red, I was very excited to come across this neutral toned beauty in Dorothy Perkins. It compliments basically every colour and works really well with the above tan jacket or my green cosy parka. I basically haven't left the house without this since Christmas and I love wearing it kind of looped around my neck to keep me feeling super snug.

  1. You picked some lovely things. I love having a simple bag, at the moment I am using a backpack from topshop which I love. I haven't got a tartan scarf this year, but I feel like I need to buy some as they are so useful.
