The Lush Winter/Christmas collection has fast become one of my favourite things about this time of year and after receiving some gorgeous christmas gifts from the collection last year I've been counting down the months until I could get my hands on them again. This 'Stardust' gift set had been at the top of my wishlist for a very long time as it features basically all of my very favourite Lush products, so I was extremely happy to receive it for my Birthday from my Papa and Stepmumma. As soon as I the took the lid off I was hit with the most divine, sweet candy scent and I've been like a kid in a sweet shop choosing what to use each time I've had a bath ever since...
The Comforter Bubble Bar (£4.95) - "Berry yourself under a blackcurranty blanket of bubbles and let this fruity little number put your world to rights. Cassis absolute gives a distinctive blackcurrant fragrance, while bergamot adds an uplifting note" This is definitely my favourite bubble bar as it works out such good value for money and I absolutely love the sweet, blackcurrant scent. I find I can get four or five baths out of this with bubbles galore and I love how it turns the water pink too :) I've been wanting to try the Comforter Shower Gel for months too so I'm going to have to treat myself to that soon; I've heard such good things about it and it's my second favourite Lush scent after my beloved Snow Fairy *major heart eyed emoji moment*
Star Dust Bath Bomb £2.95 - "Follow yonder star all the way to the bathroom; it will bear exotic gifts of Fair Trade Ugandan vanilla from the Mountains of the Moon and precious restorative rosewood." This one is quite similar to Butterbear as it doesn't do anything massively exciting to the water and just sort of fizzes and bobs along, turning the water all milky, but this one also releases tiny little multi coloured stars into the water! I got so excited by them hehe and the smell works really well with the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar too if you fancy making things a little more bubbly and indulgent :)
Snow Fairy Shower Gel £3.95 (100g) - "When the days are dark, add a little Christmas magic to your shower and some much-needed sparkle to your daily routine. Shower with a gel that's sure to tickle you pink by picking up this candyfloss body cleanser." This was the first product I ever tried from Lush and it always feels like Christmas when this little baby comes back into my life. James has developed quite a liking for it too (much to my despair!) and I'm having to keep a seriously close eye that he doesn't use too much of my precious little bottle ;) I like to use it with a luther sponge to get things all lathered up and I find that helps me to use less product too but the smell seems to be more intense than when I just apply it with my hands.
Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb £3.65 - "As the calming blanket of shimmering midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils take your skin to heaven and your mood rocketing up to the stars." I haven't used this one yet but I've been wanting to try it for ages; it looks incredible on their website! Again I'm obsessed with the sweet smell and I think I'm going to save it for my pre-christmas pamper day next week :)
Rock Star Soap £3.50 - "Get into the groove with this creamy, sweet swelling soap. Containing Fair Trade vanilla absolute, this will leave you feeling sweet and comforted." I'm not really the biggest soap user but this one is just gorgeous - it's so creamy and moisturising and a little goes a really long way; I'm having to keep it out of James' reach!!
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar £2.95 - "Crumble the swirled pink summit under running water and embrace glistening ridges of bubbles and comforting creamy candy mist." I honestly can't sing the praises of this enough; it's like Snow Fairy in bubble form and is very reasonably priced considering you can get a decent three baths from it. I like to use a little bit of a bubble bar with bath bombs sometimes to get some bubbles going (bubbblleeeessss bubbles bubbles bubbles bubbles, my bubbles *name that movie*) so I love how the scents in this gift set all work together so you can get some good little combos going. If you haven't used/smelt this before you seriously need to have a whiff when you're next in Lush, I promise you won't be disappointed ;)

The Stardust giftset is £27.95 and would make a perfect last minute present if you're struggling with ideas for a girly girl who loves a good old pamper :) How pretty is the sparkly star box too?!

11 more sleeps to go!

Love Holly xo
