5 HOLY GRAIL PRODUCTS UNDER £5

The Holly Days
I've always been the kind of girl who loves a bargain. As I've gotten older I have learnt the importance of investing in certain items (Essie nail polish I'm looking at you!) but you just can't beat that feeling of finding something really awesome which only costs a couple of pounds. I've been thinking recently about how these five bargains have become 'holy grail' products for me which I'll always repurchase, and believe me you really need to add them to your collection...
The Holly Days
I can't get over what a difference this has made to my dark under-eye circles since introducing it into my daily skincare routine back in May; I'm really annoyed at myself for not taking a before and after photo! It's quite a creamy consistency which manages to not be too thick or too watery so it absorbs into the skin quickly and is really easy to apply. I use it morning and night and teamed with the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' Concealer it honestly is a miracle worker! I love that it comes in a box as well; simple things and all that ;)
The Holly Days
I use this on my brows to keep them in place and stop the colour from smudging and it works so much better than any actual brow mascara I've tried. I love that it doesn't leave the brows feeling crispy so you can't feel that you've used it and it gives a very tidy, groomed look to the brows. When I use proper brow mascara I always think my brows end up looking a bit dirty and I struggle to get the colour to spread evenly across them, but this is so much easier to use. It's also good to use just before tweezing as it sets the hairs into place so you can see where the natural brow shape is and identify any hairs which need to be taken away.
The Holly Days
This is one of those products which I didn't understand the hype about when I first tried it. I thought it was ok, but I was a bit of a lazy mare and always preferred to use face wipes (awful thing to admit as a beauty blogger I know!) However after trialling a couple of cleansing oils and eye makeup removers over the past couple of months (which have all been quite a pain for taking makeup off and have required about a million cotton pads!!) I decided to give this another try and this time round it has completely knocked my socks off. I love how gentle it is on the skin and it really does melt away makeup (particularly mascara!) so effortlessly. The new smaller bottle is such a handy size and it's only £1 in Savers :)
The Holly Days
I first started using this about a year ago after seeing Kirsty recommend it and after having a couple of months break from it when I trialled the Soap & Glory 'One Heck of a Blot' powder and Rimmel 'Stay Matte' powder, I've realised just how amazing this actually is. It does everything 'One Heck of a Blot Does' but it's a fraction of the price and the packaging isn't as fancy. I use this as a setting powder to keep my makeup in place and control my oily tzone throughout the day and it works wonders at preventing foundation from looking visible on the skin (my number one hate when it comes to foundation!) It earns extra brownie points for having a shade pale enough for my casper skin too :)
The Holly Days
I've been a fan of Barry M polishes for several years but after getting a couple of Essie shades in my life I've come to realise that they really aren't all that great (more on that in another post very soon!) however this little gem honestly is the most amazing top coat I've ever used. When I use this I can get up to three days without any chips (and I work in retail!!) and it gives a lovely glossy finish to the nails too. It's also a nail strengthener and base coat (I love a good all in one product!) and I've seen a huge improvement in the condition of my nails since I started using this. Now that I'm training as a Beauty Therapist I'm starting to build a professional manicure kit for when I *hopefully* start to offer the service freelance in a few months, and this is definitely going to be the top coat I use on clients as I've never found anything else as good as this.

Let me know if I've persuaded you to try any of these; considering all five of them would cost just over £10 you really don't have any excuse not to pop them in your shopping basket ;)
